PTSD Awareness Campaign
The third annual PTSD Awareness Day was held on Sunday October 10 – that’s 10/10/10 – in Kings Park, Canberra.
We’ combined it this year with a health and wellbeing expo, and hope to expand the concept in 2011.
Those who attended learned about post traumatic stress disorder, talked to people who have already walked in your shoes, and those providing wellbeing services.
There were emergency services and military displays, a bridge to bridge walk, and a chance to feel that you’re not alone.
